Following the success of last year’s lunch, we’re delighted to welcome the team from the Gardens back to Chapter for another special afternoon.

Enjoy a delicious seasonal 2-course lunch at Chapter before hearing from Head Gardener Bethan Collerton and Senior Horticulturist Alberto Trinco, who will take you through the work underway to prepare BBG plant collections ahead of the essential restoration works and the gardens' plans.

Sue Beardsmore, Chair of the gardens, will welcome guests and CEO Sara Blair-Manning will give an update on the development plans for this flagship green project in the city council’s Future Plan (2022) and City of Nature Plan (2022). Preserving and future-proofing the Gardens will mean they can continue to play their unique role in reconnecting people with nature, science and the environment.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy good food while learning more about the important work taking place behind the scenes.
