Chapter is a one off and our independence is key to who we are.
Our neighbourhood restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to late, and on Sundays from 9.30am to 6pm.
Chef Director Ben Ternent’s style is nature led, rooted in seasonality and committed to quality British produce. We source from the dedicated farmers and fishermen around the British Isles, buying only free range meat, LEAF accredited fruit & veg and daily catches from British harbours. Our suppliers are an amazing bunch!
Chapter embraces the community and has something for everyone: breakfast, lunch, and dinner Tuesday to Saturday; a choice of our dinner menu or 5 course tasting menus on Saturday evenings; Sunday lunch. Our Bar menu runs throughout the day and evening from Tuesday to Saturday.
On entering Chapter you step into our bar with views over the terrace and into our state of the art open kitchen.
The ingredients for our cocktails are sourced with the same care given to the produce in our kitchen with seasonal and beautifully curated flavours.
Enjoy dishes on our Bar Menu ranging from a platter of British cured meats & cheese, monkfish scampi, to our vegan loaded fries with avocado and chilli.
With our inventive, carefully selected wine list and our beers on tap, simply come to Chapter to enjoy the drinks and be seduced by our bar menu.
Dogs are welcome in the bar through to late afternoon... biscuits at the ready!
Running from now until the end of August every Tuesday to Saturday night in early evening (5 -7pm) and Twilight (10 – 11pm), you can enjoy 5 cocktails at £5 each, Madri £4 a pint and Sharps Cold River Cider £5 a pint. Menu

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple | Crème de Peche | jasmine tea | pickled apple cider
This is truly delicious. A superb balance of the honeyed tones of the Tennessee sour mash whiskey coupled with the great tart finish of the Granny Smith apple cider made by our own head chef Nathan. The jasmine tea adds a lovely smoky fragrance.

In fine weather, sit out on our beautiful front terrace. We’ve introduced outdoor seating with a bar top that runs the length of our lovely box hedging on the upper terrace, with high tables and chairs on the lower terrace. Enjoy sitting out for breakfast, drinks, bar menu throughout the day.
